Roasted Green Beans

I love when a side dish can be thrown together in less than five minutes, which is why roasted green beans is a weekly favorite in my house! This veggie side dish is simple and delicious, and can be easily modified for other veggies too!

The gang that helps make this dish possible:

greenbeans1

Frozen green beans (I like using fresh green beans too!), salt and pepper, olive oil.

Simply dump the bag of green beans onto the pan. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper…and that’s it!

greenbeans2

Roast in oven at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.

Frozen green beans are done when soft, fresh green beans get all nice and crispy and have that beautiful roasted look to them.

I do this recipe with broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini too. Simple s & p works great if paired with other dishes that are super flavorful, but I like using seasoning salt and other spices as well. The possibilities are endless, enjoy!
